A New Wild Adventure
We have been a little MIA lately in the Compass Arrow world. The past few months have been packed with moving to a northern suburb of Seattle, my husband starting to pastor at a different church, launching a new blog, & did I mention baby baby baby things? Our little guy will be here in a few short months!
I am now almost 34 weeks, which makes my tummy gigantic, short winded breathing to do even the simplest of tasks and sweet, well lets be honest – sometimes painful kicks and jabs constantly from baby. I’m growing a part Japanese mini-ninja. I seem to be waddling more than walking, and misjudging my circumference as I bump into counters and knock things over on tables. I have the bruises to prove it. Lets not forget that unfortunate peeing-when-you-laugh-or-sneeze phenomenon or feeling like you can take a nap in just about any situation.
Pregnancy is a really unique experience, but life is a joy and I can’t imagine it any other way. Baby is super healthy and that is all this new mom can ever ask for. He is almost full term, weighing in at a little over 4lbs and 17inches long! What a champ.
Now that we are getting settled into our new home, a nursery area was undoubtedly in the works. We themed his space from the book, “Where the Wild Things Are” and anticipate a whole new adventure ahead for our family has he enters this world soon. Any guesses on his name? I’ll give you a hint, it starts with an “E”.
So with that, we will continue to be a little MIA until baby “E’s” arrival as our family adjusts with this precious gift of life and new season in our life. Feel free to e-mail us for inquiries as we will continue to schedule photography sessions for the upcoming spring (starting in May) and into the summer/fall. You can still follow us for more constant posts on our facebook page and be on the look out for updates with our growing family!
I am sure I will start to be THAT mom who posts a scary amount of adorable newborn pictures, but I’ll try to keep it contained. Maybe. If he looks anything like his dad, you all just may want to unfollow me now if you can’t handle the abundance of cuteness about to be posted. Watch out for those cute almond asian eyes and sleepy funny faces.
Happy love month from ours to yours. May you take this time to celebrate the precious gifts around you.
