Twin Oaks Church is located in Eugene, OR. One of my favorite jobs to do is help a non-profit with a total facelift transformation not just with their web design, but branding as well. Often non-profits don’t have enough resources or time to really pour into their media. However, it is crucial to be recognized in todays day and age. I feel that many organizations are often overlooked or ignored because of terrible media. It has been one of my greatest desires as a designer to be able to help NGO’s, churches and ministries in order for them to have more of an impact in the communities they are trying to reach and for fundraising opportunities. I believe great media and art can help bring awareness and create emotions that inspire others to act.
This project was a fun collaboration with the Pastor at Twin Oaks and helping put their new vision into existence. I wanted to make sure that their website didn’t just look awesome on a desk top, but mobile as well. The push for mobile optimization of websites has been coming on for years. However, consider the fact that 50 percent of all local searches are performed on mobile devices, and only about 50 percent of all websites are optimized for mobile use…so Twin Oaks is ready for both! You can visit their website here and get a full view.
Below are the concepts they were presented for their logo, but they ended up going with the final logo at the end. Do you have a favorite?
